Coastal Roots Greenery- Ashley Burnett

Hey, I'm Ashley! I am the owner of Coastal Roots Greenery, a plant shop rooted in Fernandina Beach, FL. I started my business as a mobile plant shop, using a 1968 Beeline Camper, named Rootie, to bring more greenery to residents of North Florida and South Georgia. Even though I have a brick and mortar now, you can still find Rootie out some weekends, vending at markets and festivals!

The idea for Coastal Roots came, like many small businesses, from a passion. I have always loved plants, and watching things grow, and was determined to start a business that was fueled by those two things. I have worked in so many different professions, from police officer, to working in the greenhouses at Disney World, to pest control operator for my family’s pest control company, and lastly, as a Mom. All of these fields helped me build the foundation and confidence in what Coastal Roots Greenery is today.

Coastal Roots Greenery offers a wide variety of exotic houseplants to transform your space into a thriving indoor oasis. Choose from rare tropical plants, cacti, hanging baskets, and succulents to bring life and greenery to your home. We have also started offering classes to the community in our new space.
